Shipping Policy
SCB Fish Ltd operates from St Ives, Cornwall, and supplies fresh, locally sourced fish boxes to customers across Cornwall only.
All orders are prepared by our trusted local fishmonger in accordance with UK food hygiene and safety standards.
Processing & Dispatch
Orders are usually prepared and packed as soon as possible after the fish is landed. Dispatch days vary depending on catch availability and location. Once your order is confirmed, we’ll contact you with your scheduled delivery day.
Delivery
Deliveries are made by our local fishmonger using refrigerated vans to maintain the correct temperature and ensure food safety. All fish is vacuum-packed for freshness.
Where possible, orders are delivered directly in reusable fish boxes, with no extra cardboard or outer packaging. These boxes come straight from our supplier and are collected back after delivery, helping to reduce packaging waste even further.
Free delivery is available across Cornwall. Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery at the agreed time, as fish cannot be left unattended for food safety reasons.
Coverage
We currently deliver throughout Cornwall only. We do not offer national or international delivery yet.
Packaging & Sustainability
We keep packaging simple and recyclable to reduce waste and save our customers money. No ice packs or foil liners are used, as all deliveries are made via temperature-controlled transport. Customers also have the option to receive their order in reusable fish boxes, which are collected back after delivery to reduce waste even further.
